THE PLAYERS Championship after hours: The Cut Concert benefits The Boselli Foundation

After the sun went down on the second round of 2016 THE PLAYERS Championship, golf fans and supporters of the Tony Boselli Foundation turned out for a private concert performance from Nashville artists Nate Moran, Chris Lane, and Clare Dunn at Cornerstone Park in Ponte Vedra Beach.

The Cut, presented by Compass Consulting Group and Digital Benefit Advisors, was held May 13. One hundred percent of the proceeds benefitted The Boselli Foundation. Established by former Jacksonville Jaguars player, Tony Boselli and his wife, Angi Boselli, the faith-based nonprofit foundation helps at-risk Jacksonville youth through the foundation’s Youth Life Learning Centers (YLLC), an after-school program in which children with limited financial resources are provided academic enrichment and remedial education in the areas of reading, language arts and mathematics as well as mentoring and character development.

The sixth annual event was held in a new venue this year. Previously, The Cut was held outside the Nicklaus Gate in the general parking lot off of County Road 210 as part of the so-called “lot parties” - THE PLAYERS Championship after parties. This year, the foundation decided to hold the event in the football field at Cornerstone Park as the event outgrew the previous venue space and the decision was made to hire Executive OutReach Events, LLC.

“Tony (Boselli) and his team asked us to come out and take this event to the next level,” Steve Neff, president and co-founder of Executive OutReach Events, LLC said.

This year’s event featured a general admission area with seated and bar top tables, mobile bars, food trucks and a VIP area.
