THE PLAYERS to host essential workers and leaders serving community during pandemic

Although fewer tickets are available to THE PLAYERS Championship 2021, it did not stop the PGA TOUR’s flagship event in committing tickets for essential workers and leaders serving the Northeast Florida community during the pandemic.

From Thursday, March 11, through Sunday, March 14, these community members will have access to hospitality venues on the famous Island Green 17th hole.

“After everything that these essential workers have gone through over the last year, collaborating with our Proud Partners to provide these heroes with access to the tournament is the very least we could do,” said Jared Rice, executive director of THE PLAYERS. “We have a responsibility to honor and recognize their selflessness as well as the many sacrifices they have made, and are continuing to make, during the COVID-19 pandemic. We are honored to give them a special experience at this year’s championship.”
