Toll Brothers has announced plans to build new single-family homes in Shearwater, a master-planned residential community on County Road 210 in northern St. Johns County.
Toll Brothers at Shearwater will include 66 two-story single-family homes. Home buyers will be able to select from five home designs, all featuring extensive interior appointments, fine architectural details, spacious living areas, gourmet kitchens, private master suites and hundreds of options for home buyers to personalize their home. Sales for Toll Brothers at Shearwater will begin in early 2019.
The newest Toll Brothers community will be located in The Falls, which includes the four-acre Falls Park; the Falls loop trail that enhances the community’s already robust trail network; Shearwater’s first dog park, which includes one fenced park for large dogs and one for smaller dogs; and a community garden for residents to plant flowers, herbs and vegetables year-round.
“There’s a true sense of community throughout Shearwater,” said Steven Merten, president of Toll Brothers’ Northeast Florida division. “We’re excited to be a part of Shearwater and look forward to welcoming home buyers early next year.”
Shearwater residents also enjoy the Kayak Club amenity center, a state-of-the-art Fitness Lodge, Har-Tru tennis courts, resort-style lagoon and lap pool, the Perch Water Tower, Northeast Florida’s longest Lazy River and 13 miles of trails.
Developed by Freehold Communities, Shearwater is situated between Jacksonville and St. Augustine. Shearwater offers A-rated schools, extensive shopping and dining destinations and a variety of cultural, sports and entertainment options.
“We are excited to welcome Toll Brothers to Shearwater, adding another quality homebuilder to our community’s builder family,” said Andy Smith, division president for the Southeast for Freehold Communities. “Toll Brothers is an established homebuilder with a great track record of success both nationally and locally in the Jacksonville market. The builder’s signature home designs, which include large porches and a focus on outdoor living spaces, directly align with Shearwater’s architectural objectives aimed at connecting residents to nature and one another.”
