Underwood Jewelers of Ponte Vedra Beach hosted an invitation-only event last week for the Ponte Vedra Woman’s Club to benefit the local non-profit, Haven Horse Ranch. Underwood Jewelers donated two David Yurman bracelets to be used as prizes in raising funds at the event. Additionally, Underwood Jewelers donated 10 percent of all David Yurman sales from Friday through Sunday to Haven Horse Ranch.

“The Ponte Vedra Woman’s Club decided this year to take our events and designate a specific charity to them,” said Denice Goldberg, co-chair of the club’s Ways and Means committee and co-chair of the event.

Haven Horse Ranch is a nonprofit organization that uses horses to teach children basic life’s principles.

“Our amazing Underwood Jewelers knows how incredible Haven Horse Ranch is and what a tremendous impact they have made on thousands and thousands of children in Northeast Florida,” said club president Teri Ellis.

The Ponte Vedra Woman’s Club will also host a Casino Night Mardi Gras-themed event to benefit Haven Horse Ranch this month on Feb. 20, and a fashion show on May 7 at Sawgrass to benefit the Florida School for the Deaf and Blind.

The upcoming Casino night will be hosted from 6 to 9 p.m. at Christ Episcopal Church, 400 San Juan Dr. in Ponte Vedra, and will include black jack, craps, roulette and the opportunity to win and bid on unique prizes. The event is open to the public and tickets are $50 in advance, $55 at the door. For more information, visit www.pontevedrawomansclub.com.
