The Cultural Center at Ponte Vedra Beach will host “Cocktails, Connections & a Concert,” an online event with world-renowned soprano Sara Gartland, at 7 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 11.

CCPVB, a nonprofit organization with a mission to bring arts into the community, had previously planned an event for March 2020 in order to raise funds for its outreach program, Sound Connections, which provides music therapy to children with special needs. Due to COVID-19, the event was postponed. CCPVB moved forward with a plan to host an online program instead.

The online watch party will feature Gartland, who is passionate about music therapy and has a child with special needs. Gartland will perform with David Lomeli, director of artistic administration for The Dallas Opera, and Anthony V. Manoli, a pianist who has worked with leading opera companies throughout the world. In addition to the music, each VIP supporter and general supporter attendee will receive a “party box” for their home with treats to enjoy during the performance.

"We want to thank our supporters," said Catherine Tatem, Arts Programs and Outreach manager, "Their support means everything, especially now."

Virtual seats are still available at CCPVB.org.
