Ponte Vedra Wellness Center hosted a Florida Fall Festival and Wellness Expo on Thursday, Sept. 26 to celebrate 15 years of operation at the Beach. The event, in cooperation with Center State Bank, was held outside their Ponte Vedra Beach office on Corridor Road. The event was in cooperation with the Ponte Vedra Beach Division of the St. Johns County Chamber of Commerce as part of its Chamber After Hours event series.
Raffle tickets were sold to benefit local nonprofit The HEAL Foundation, an organization dedicated to helping to enrich autistic lives. Prizes included overnight get-aways, gift certificates to local restaurants, fitness memberships, and wellness baskets, all donated by local businesses.
Practice owner Dr. Erika Hamer said, “I really feel like this year is a milestone – this practice has grown so much over the past fifteen years and seen a variety of changes. From the beginning, I have always considered it to be a great honor for me to be able to positively impact the health of so many and contribute in a positive way to their wellbeing. This practice has always enjoyed a very significant retention rate of patients and now, after 15 years, I am treating the children of people I saw when I first opened. In fact, just recently, I adjusted the newborn baby of someone I began seeing when they were in middle school. They had been brought in by their parents, who were patients. I also treated the parents’ parents — so in just one family I have been able to treat four generations — an incredible honor!
Attendees also toured the Wellness Village, where over a dozen local community partners set up to discuss services and offer free samples or special offers.
