Author and writing consultant T. M. Jacobs will speak at the FWA Ponte Vedra Writers meeting on Saturday, Jan. 26. Jacobs presents a workshop designed to help develop writing into a business.
During his presentation, “Writing is Your Business,” Jacobs will discuss some “outside the box” methods for marketing books, how to set goals with writing and how to learn from best sellers.
A native to the shoreline area of Connecticut, Jacobs now resides in various locations along the East Coast with his fiancé traveling and working from their RV motorhome. He has published nine books and over 400 articles in various newspapers and magazines. He teaches classes on writing and publishing and currently is the owner of Jacobs Writing Consultants.
Since the Ponte Vedra Library is still closed and undergoing repairs, the group will meet at 10:30 a.m. at Christ Episcopal Church, located at 400 San Juan Drive. The Christ Episcopal Church will continue to be the location of the Ponte Vedra Writers group meetings for the next few months.
The Ponte Vedra Writers group is part of the Florida Writers Association, a statewide, nonprofit organization with nearly 1,500 members dedicated to the support of both aspiring and published writers in any genre.
