The 18th DONNA Marathon Weekend concluded Sunday, Feb. 2, with more than 7,000 runners participating in events across the First Coast. Athletes from all 50 states and nine countries laced up for multiple competitive race events.
Celebrating survivorship, remembrance and the hope that comes with choosing love over fear, participants raised more than $197,000 in support of The DONNA Foundation’s programs. Fundraising will continue through Feb. 28.
The 26.2 with DONNA The National Marathon to Finish Breast Cancer is the only marathon in the country dedicated to serving those living with breast cancer. This year’s marathon Sunday, which took runners through a double-loop course across the Jacksonville Beaches, saw both repeat and new champions for its 18th running, including:
DONNA Marathon Weekend’s Sunday races, including the half marathon, marathon and inaugural Pete’s Bar DONNA Crawl, extended through Jacksonville, Neptune and Atlantic beaches.
“There is just something so special about being with 7,000 of your closest friends for a 26.2-mile standing ovation,” said Amanda Napolitano, executive director of The DONNA Foundation. “The energy of DONNA Marathon Weekend is one of a kind –– something that fuels us all year long to serve breast cancer patients, survivors and families. Events like these, made possible by incredible partners, help us in our mission to provide financial assistance, support and hope to people living with breast cancer –– and we have a lot of fun doing it!”
The 2025 FIS DONNA 5K started and finished at EverBank Stadium on Saturday, Feb. 1, in partnership with the Jacksonville Foundation and Bold Events. Winners are as follows:

Eighty-four participants logged 11,842 miles over the course of four months as part of The DONNA Foundation’s third annual 110-Mile-A-Day Challenge and virtual events. The challenge encouraged families and individuals to collectively walk one mile per day while focusing on living a healthy, fearless and sustainable life. Miles were logged from Oct. 1 to Feb. 2.
