Angelwood Inc., a Jacksonville-based nonprofit dedicated to supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental differences, recently received a $9,700 donation from Underwood Jewelers.

The funds were raised during a successful trunk show held May 8-10 at Underwood’s Ponte Vedra Beach location, featuring world-renowned jewelry designers “Platinum Born” and “Penny Preville.”

A portion of the proceeds from this three-day event has been donated to Angelwood and will directly benefit the organization’s essential programs, including residential group homes, adult day training, respite care and supported employment for individuals living with disabilities. This gift will help Angelwood continue its mission of empowering individuals and families across Northeast Florida.

As part of this special partnership, two exquisite pieces of jewelry — one from Platinum Born and one from Penny Preville — have also been donated for a prize drawing. The winners will be announced at Angelwood’s annual Soaring Possibilities Celebration: Reach for the Stars, on Aug. 16 at the Sawgrass Marriott in Ponte Vedra.
