Architect, contractor chosen for YMCA renovations

The First Coast YMCA has selected Studio 9 Architecture and Dav-Lin LLC as the architect and general contractor, respectively, for the design and renovation of its Brown Family YMCA branch in Ponte Vedra Beach.

The selections represent the latest chapter in a multi-million-dollar facelift to the facility formerly known as the Ponte Vedra YMCA. Among the renovations will be an enhanced wellness center with state-of-the-art equipment, updated KidZone and locker rooms, a new cycling studio, a new recovery room, a refreshed Welcome Center, updated restrooms and much more.

Construction is anticipated to begin later this summer, and the branch will maintain operations throughout the process.

For more information on project updates or to get involved in supporting the growth of the branch, the community is encouraged to go to fcymca.org/locations/ponte-vedra-ymca.

Brown Family YMCA is located at 171 Landrum Lane, Ponte Vedra Beach.
