Audens Golf Performance offers program for competitive golfers

Audens Golf Performance has launched its Jacksonville studio offering end-to-end high-performance management programs designed to address the razor-thin performance margins that define modern competitive golf.

During the 2025 PGA TOUR season, the difference between a top five players and the golfer ranked 100th in adjusted scoring average was just 0.4475 strokes per round — less than half a shot over 18 holes. For elite and aspiring players alike, that margin can determine tournament outcomes, career progression and long-term success. Audens’ performance model is engineered to help players win that margin.

Audens’ performance management model brings tour-level systems into a structured, data-driven environment built to develop the complete athlete — integrating biomechanics, strength and conditioning, coaching, rehabilitation, recovery and on-course execution into one coordinated strategy.

“Professional golf has evolved into a performance management model,” said Nic Catterall, founder of Audens Golf Performance. “It’s no longer about isolating one swing flaw or one physical limitation. Sustainable performance requires coordinated oversight across biomechanics, physical preparation, recovery systems and execution under pressure. Our role is to manage that equation with measurable precision.”

Nic works with a number of touring professionals including Cam Smith and Marc Leishman from LIV and Adam Scott and Karl Vilips from The PGA TOUR.

Audens is bringing this level of performance management to competitive golfers at every stage of their development.

An Evidence Based Performance Environment

At Audens, data isn’t collected for reports but used to guide real training decisions every day. Core technologies include:

  • 3D swing motion capture (GEARS Motion Capture) for full kinematic swing analysis
  • DARI 3D functional movement screening for biomechanical assessment
  • Ground force measurement and strength testing to quantify power and stability
  • Trackman, Foresight, Uneekor, Putting analytics and performance tracking systems

Rather than providing isolated services, the Audens model integrates these modalities and data streams into a unified performance roadmap. Each athlete receives a structured evidence-based assessment, followed by hands-on performance management under Audens proprietary AXIS framework. Audens aligns strength training, coaching, rehabilitation, assessments and mental preparation into one coordinated progression plan.

Expanding Access to Tour-Level Systems

This model has been tested at the highest levels of golf performance. Now, Audens is bringing it directly to the broader golf community through guided studio tours, on-site functional movement clinics at local clubs, and immersive, coach-led performance workshops throughout the Jacksonville area. The program is designed for competitive juniors, collegiate players, elite amateurs, professionals and dedicated golfers who want a more structured, data-informed approach to long-term development.

Audens is one of the few comprehensive golf performance management centers nationally and the only fully integrated facility of its kind in Jacksonville.

Leadership and Expertise

Founded by Australian high-performance coach Nic Catterall, Audens works with developing athletes through to major champions, including 2022 Open Champion Cameron Smith and 2013 Masters Champion Adam Scott.

  • Tim Wilkinson — Former PGA TOUR professional with more than 150 starts
  • John Mousley — PGA Master Professional and TPI-certified coach
  • Mac Carnell, M.S. — Certified strength and conditioning specialist, TPI certified
  • Jacob Evanich, DPT — Doctor of physical therapy with advanced orthopedic and performance certifications, TPI Certified

“High performance rarely happens in isolation,” Catterall said. “Mastery happens when technical coaching, physical preparation, medical insight and performance strategy are aligned under one system.”
