Beacon Lake builders honored in Northeast Florida Parade of Homes

Dream Finders Homes and Mattamy Homes models win awards

The community of Beacon Lake and members of its builder team, Dream Finders Homes and Mattamy Homes, received silver awards in the Northeast Florida Parade of Homes.

The awards recognized the designer-decorated model homes, the Boca II by Dream Finders Homes and the Tradewind by Mattamy Homes. Hosted by the Northeast Florida Builders Association, the Parade of Homes is an annual event highlighting the latest in new home innovation and design.

At Beacon Lake, Dream Finders Homes, Mattamy Homes and Toll Brothers are building coastal-inspired single-family homes. Dream Finders is also building luxury townhomes. Seven model homes are open daily for tours.

About Beacon Lake

At the heart of the community is the 8,200-square-foot Lake House Amenity and Fitness Center. It is anchored by a 43-acre lake and situated within 358 acres of nature preserve. The center features a junior Olympic swimming pool, fun pool and splash park, plus a crew house for kayak rentals and a demonstration kitchen.

Beacon Lake’s fitness center offers virtual fitness classes, cardio and strength-training equipment, free weights, spin bikes and a fitness studio. Beacon Lake is within the St. Johns County Public School District and currently zoned for A-rated schools, including Ocean Palms Elementary School, Alice B. Landrum Middle School and Allen D. Nease High School for the 2020-21 school year. The district has announced plans to open a new high school in the 2022-23 school year.

The community offers residents a central location near shopping, dining, employment centers and area beaches. A new Publix is set to open soon just outside the community.
