Chabad at the Beaches is gearing up for its largest Chanukah event with its 14th annual Chanukah Wonderland Concert.
Chabad expects hundreds to attend the yearly community Chanukah celebration to be held Tuesday, Dec. 27. Set to take place at the Cultural Center at Ponte Vedra Beach, the event kicks off at 5 p.m., followed by a 6 p.m. menorah lighting with free Chanukah delicacies, including hot latkes, music and a free raffle.
“Chanukah’s a time for celebrating the freedom to openly honor our values; freedom, goodness and light are all celebrated,” said Rabbi Nochum Kurinsky, director of Chabad at the Beaches. “This event is designed to bring the joy of Chanukah to people of all ages, backgrounds, and interests.”
The event will also feature Toronto-based musician and entertainer Yossi Berktin, also known as master magician Rabbi B.; a Grand Chanukah Family Carnival and Fair including games, inflatables, face paint and photos; and dinner packages with a choice of Zahava’s falafel and kiddie hot dogs for purchase.
