Christ Church in Ponte Vedra Beach and Miss Felicia’s Dance ministry continued its Christmas tradition with its 29th Annual Nutcracker performance at the Lazzara Performance Hall at the University of North Florida on Dec. 14.
Since its inception nearly three decades ago, the showcase was produced and directed by Felicia Rhoden.
The production featured Bria Ragatz as Clara, while Rachel McManus, Olivia Baldwin and Kathryn Walls were the snow queens and Lauren Lineberger was the sugar plum fairy and Isabela Victoria starred as the lilac fairy.
Baldwin, Lineberger, McManus, Victoria and Walls are all members of the graduating senior class within the dance ministry and have been part of the ministry for more than a decade.
They are joined by fellow seniors Kyra Krieger, Eva Lantzy and Isabella Peet, who were all faced with the emotions of it being their final Nutcracker production with the ministry.
“My heart swells with pride as I think of the incredible young women you have become,” Rhoden said. “Watching you grow from little ones in this dance ministry into graceful, confident, and compassionate individuals has been one of the greatest blessings in my life. I will forever cherish the memories we’ve created together through this beautiful journey of faith and dance.”
