David Vigil and Robert Franskousky of LPL Private Wealth hosted an “After Hours” event for the Ponte Vedra Beach Division of the St. Johns County Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday, Oct. 24 at their office on Ponte Vedra Boulevard.

Held on the business’ deck overlooking the water, the event featured food catered by the Lodge & Club and live music from string guitarist Richard Kuncicky. Vigil and Franskousky took an opportunity to introduce themselves and their business, as well as discuss the latest news in the market. Overall, Franskousky said it was a very productive event.

“It gave us an opportunity to let people know what we do and who we are,” Franskousky said. “It was a really good evening with a lot of camaraderie and business discussions.”

Located at 574 Ponte Vedra Blvd., LPL Private Wealth is the only full-service private wealth practice on Ponte Vedra Boulevard. Both Vigil and Franskousky have been financial advisors for over 15 years.

Being involved in the community via events like the Chamber “After Hours” event is important to the practice. Their community involvement is also seen on the first Saturday of each month when the practice offers free paper shredding from 10 to 11 a.m. in its office parking lot. Known as “Shred Hour,” Vigil and Franskousky said the event has become a big success, allowing people to stay close to home to shred their important papers, free of charge. The next “Shred Hour” is coming up this Saturday, Nov. 3.

“It’s a great way for us to meet people in the community,” Vigil said. “We feel very fortunate to be part of the community in which we serve.”
