Diwali celebration held at the link

Posted

The Festival of Lights shone brilliantly at the link recently as families from across St. Johns County gathered to celebrate a vibrant evening of culture, music and togetherness. The event brought together not only the local Indian community but also friends and families of all backgrounds (age groups and races) under one roof, transforming the link into a dazzling mosaic of colors, aromas and sounds reminiscent of India’s most joyous festival.

The celebration brought to life memories of Diwali back home in India.

The creative organizing team, Ekta Anand, Vandana Sharma and Shruti Bansal, along with Gurpreet Misra, co-founder of the link, curated an atmosphere filled with warmth and inclusivity. They crafted a memorable experience that seamlessly blended tradition with modern flair.

Adding to the excitement, the evening pulsed with music from DJ Manish Sharma, who kept the crowd dancing all night long with a mix of Bollywood and Hollywood fusion tracks usually reserved for big-city nightlife.

Menaka Pathak stole the spotlight with an impromptu dance performance that had the crowd cheering and singing along. The selfie station added to the fun, capturing joyful moments, glittering outfits and vibrant smiles that perfectly reflected the festive spirit.

No celebration is complete without delicious food, and Karma Indian Cuisine delivered a feast that delighted everyone.
