Dr. Jerry Parrish, the chief economist and director of research for the Florida Chamber of Commerce Foundation, served as the keynote speaker of the St. Johns County Chamber of Commerce’s Economic Development Council (EDC) quarterly breakfast on Friday, Nov. 16.
“We were honored that Dr. Parrish accepted our invitation to address the Economic Development Council Quarterly breakfast,” Chamber President/CEO Isabelle Renault said. “He informed, educated and challenged us with information we need to make our county the best it can be.”
The event was held at the Renaissance World Golf Village Resort in St. Augustine, where attendees heard Parrish discuss the Foundation’s focus on research and how his organization updates the Florida Scorecard with state and county metrics, producing reports to help the state prepare for long-term prosperity.
