Fury Water Adventures St. Augustine is now sailing from its new port in St. Augustine.
A long-time Key West staple, Fury is known for hosting high-quality excursions on state-of-the-art sailing vessels. When 13-year company veteran and president of Fury Management Inc. Marcel Geluk relocated to St. Augustine in 2021, he knew he had found a gem. Fury Water Adventures began sailing from 250 Vilano Road in St. Augustine on Aug. 18, and passengers have been having a blast.
“My family moved from Key West to St. Augustine after falling in love with the community,” said Geluk. “It wasn’t long before I connected with former Fury staff that had also relocated. We created a shared vision for bringing Fury to St. Augustine. It’s obviously very different from our Key West operation, but here in St. Augustine, we have beautiful historic views and a diverse sailing area. We’re looking forward to creating some wonderful memories with our guests.”
Atlantic Fury is a 65-foot sailing catamaran with expansive 360-degree views on its spacious deck and open-air cabin. With Capt. Andrew Cangero at the helm, Atlantic Fury departs twice daily from the docks just south of the Francis and Mary Usina Bridge on Vilano Beach.
The Dolphin Watch & Historical Harbor Tour is a two-hour afternoon sail that blends history with wildlife. The captain and crew will help passengers explore the waters, looking for local bottle-nose dolphins and enjoying the harbor's beauty. The Dolphin Watch & Historical Harbor Tour is $54.95 for guests 11 and older, $29.95 for children ages 4-10, and children 3 and younger are admitted for free. The sail includes complimentary beer, wine, soda and water.
The Live Music Sunset Sail is a true sailor’s escape. Departing just before sunset, Atlantic Fury glides effortlessly towards downtown St. Augustine, where passengers can view the historic city at the golden hour. Live entertainment is provided by some of the city’s favorite musicians. The Live Music Sunset Sail is $59.95 for guests 11 and older, $29.95 for children ages 4-10, and children 3 and younger are admitted for free. The sail includes complimentary beer, wine, soda, water, margaritas, champagne and snacks.
