Gentle Dentists USA held a grand opening and open house for its Beaches office on Dec. 13 that was attended by over 200 community and business leaders.

Providing guests with an opportunity to see the new office and meet the staff, the event also allowed visitors to meet former Jaguars players Paul Frase, Dave Widell and Mike Hollis, who were among the people in attendance. During the event, the dental clinic’s staff showcased some of its state-of-the-art equipment, including the Magic Wand for anesthesia, hand held low dose X-ray units and dental rooms with TVs in the ceiling and wireless headsets available for comfort.

Located at 3316 Third St. S., #101, in Jacksonville Beach, the dental clinic opened in October with several innovative approaches to healthcare. One of these is a café located in the reception area. Local artist Pat Murphy designed a custom mosaic sign for the Gentle Café that was unveiled at the grand opening.

In addition, Gentle Dentists Beaches is open late in the evening and seven days a week for ease of access.

“We want to deliver gentle care in a state-of-the-art facility that is convenient and accessible to all of the Beaches communities,” said Dr. Shankeertha Sundar, director of the Beaches Clinic.

Dr. Shyam Paryani, CEO of Gentle Dentists USA and a Ponte Vedra Beach resident, echoed those sentiments.

“We are thrilled at the support the community has given us so far in launching this new concept, which we feel is a great asset for the whole Beaches area,” he said.
