Hosted by Ponte Vedra United for Progress (PVUP) and Ben & Jerry’s in Nocatee, a Harris-Walz 2024 golf cart parade was held Oct. 5 with an aim to unite the community with vibrant golf carts, campaign signs and enthusiastic supporters.
The parade traveled through Town Center and ended at Nocatee Village Drive, where Ben & Jerry’s served as the post-parade hub. Parade-goers enjoyed a 20% discount on all ice cream from noon to 1 p.m.
PVUP is a grassroots organization focused on social justice, equality and progressive values in Ponte Vedra. The Nocatee location of Ben & Jerry’s, owned by Jessica Shaw, emphasizes community engagement and partnerships while supporting social justice, equity and environmental sustainability.
