Heather Quick, the CEO of the Quick Law Group, has been named a Woman of Influence by the Jacksonville Business Journal.

The award recognizes Quick's involvement in shaping the Jacksonville business community and the surrounding region by her contributions to nonprofits and the public sector.

Over the course of her career, Quick stymied Senate Bill 668, which would have removed permanent alimony for women and mandated a 50/50 timeshare split. Locally, she has advocated for women through the divorce process, and she has worked with the Hubbard House to offer legal advice for female victims of domestic violence.

"I am humbled and honored to receive this recognition," Quick said. "It is my passion to work with women so they may find their voice and their freedom. Life isn't about finding yourself, life is about creating yourself."

The Quick Law Group, divorce and family law for women, is located at 4312 Pablo Professional Court, Jacksonville. Visit TheQuickLawGroup.com for more information.
