On Oct. 3, downtown Fernandina Beach came alive with great energy and good spirits as Fernandina Beach Main Street hosted the 5th Annual Island Hop Craft Beer & Spirits Festival. This much-anticipated event has become a signature celebration for locals and visitors alike, raising funds to support Main Street’s ongoing community initiatives.
More than 30 breweries and distilleries from across Northeast Florida and Georgia showcased their best pours, offering festivalgoers an impressive lineup of craft beers, spirits and specialty drinks. The tasting tents were complemented by a variety of local food vendors and a bustling marketplace featuring small businesses and nonprofits, creating a true community experience.
Live music filled the air with performances from The Honey Badgers, Andria Shinn and The Loyal Souls, keeping the crowd’s energy high well into the afternoon.
The Island Hop Festival has grown steadily since its start, now drawing attendees from all over Florida who come to sample, sip and celebrate the region’s thriving craft beverage scene. Beyond the fun, it offers a valuable platform for local beverage makers to showcase their products and connect directly with fans and future customers.
Island Hop returns every year on the first weekend of October.
