Tickets for the Jacksonville Symphony’s 2025-26 season are now on sale. The 76th season features electrifying collaborations, world-class guest artists and a vibrant tribute to American music in honor of the nation’s 250th anniversary.
“Following our incredible 75th season, all of us at the symphony are feeling very energized,” said Courtney Lewis, music director of the Jacksonville Symphony. “We’re excited to share the 2025-26 season shaped by that momentum and our unwavering commitment to artistic excellence. I’m particularly looking forward to conducting Bruckner’s monumental Eighth Symphony as part of the Florida Blue Classical Series, welcoming the return of opera to Jacoby Symphony Hall with Puccini’s ‘Tosca’ and highlighting the richness of American music across our programming.”
Highlights of the season include Aaron Copland’s “Appalachian Spring” and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s “Concerto for Two Pianos.” Pops concerts range from “Bewitched Broadway” to “Chicken Fried Rock.” The popular Symphonic Night at the Movies Series returns with a new addition: Tim Burton’s “The Nightmare Before Christmas in Concert Live-to-Film,” part of the holiday lineup.
The Florida Blue Classical Series will feature guest artists including the Junction Trio; pianists Joyce Yang, Alessio Bax and Lucille Chung; contralto Avery Amereau; and guest conductors Case Scaglione, Anna Rakitina and Giordano Bellincampi. The symphony will also welcome back vocalists N’Kenge, Tony DeSare, Michael Cavanaugh and vocalists with Spot-On Entertainment throughout the Terry Family Foundation Pops Series and Fleet Landing Coffee Series.
“The success of our 75th season has launched us into a season that will go above and beyond in 2025-26,” said Steven B. Libman, president and CEO of the Jacksonville Symphony. “This season is filled with exciting programs, traditional favorites, dynamic multimedia experiences and more. Each year, we aim to expand our offerings and strengthen our connection with the community, and we’re confident this season will deliver.”
The 2025-26 season includes several special events, kicking off in September:
“The threads of my life are woven together through my songs. That’s why the project, “Threads: My Songs In Symphony,” is so special to me. It’s about sharing my music and my musical journey with audiences in a new way.” — Dolly Parton
