The Casa Marina Hotel has a new sales manager, Laura Ross, who is selling and supervising corporate meetings and events. Ross understands how the unique, historic 1925 hotel differs from cookie-cutter properties and can help clients plan for association and social events in the penthouse, courtyard, verandah and main ballroom.
“I find hospitality to be an exciting, fast-paced and ever-changing business. Each day at the Casa Marina Hotel is different and I enjoy making someone’s day a great one,” Ross stated. “Putting others first, proper planning and execution are key to working with clients on their events.”
An avid sports fan as well as an athlete and coach, Ross grew up in Syracuse, New York and worked in regional golf courses seasonally. The Florida weather brought her south to Orlando to work for a sales and marketing firm. After moving to Jacksonville, she handled recruiting and running the administrative office. The Casa Marina Hotel position combines her skills where she is overseeing each event from beginning to end.
