One Ocean Resort & Spa in Atlantic Beach has added Darren Keener to lead the sales and marketing efforts at the resort.
Bringing diverse training and nearly 13 years of experience with a background in the luxury resort realm, Keener is charged with growing the resort’s business.
“Darren’s extensive market knowledge has enabled him to make a positive impact from day one and we are excited to have him lead our sales and catering teams,” said David Mariotti, general manager of One Ocean Resort & Spa. “His innovative approach and dedication to the client relationships makes me certain that he will be an asset to the growth of the resort experience.”
Joining One Ocean Resort & Spa after eight years with Omni Hotels and Resorts, Keener most recently managed efforts at Omni Amelia Island Plantation Resort as the associate director of sales. Prior to Amelia Island, Keener was the national sales manager at Omni Atlanta Hotel at CNN Center, where he received accolades as a four-year President’s Circle Award Winner, Sales Team of the Year winner and two-year finalist for Sales Manager of the Year. Keener also previously held sales manager positions at Hyatt Regency Miami and Hyatt Regency Atlanta.
Now, Keener is excited for his next chapter at One Ocean Resort & Spa.
