Partner Connect at THE PLAYERS celebrates community Impact Makers, enables collaboration and business development

Influential business leaders from the Jacksonville area convened on Friday, March 8 for Partner Connect at THE PLAYERS presented by Mayo Clinic.

Held at the TPC Sawgrass Clubhouse, the event recognized Community Impact Makers and inspired future Impact Makers through a networking forum and learning environment. The event allowed attendees to share best practices and foster collaboration and business development opportunities. 

Partner Connect kicked off with a panel titled, “What Does it Take to be an Economic Impact Maker?” The panel featured Nilüfer Ertekin-Taner, M.D., Ph.D., professor of neurology and neuroscience at Mayo Clinic; and Dawn Lockhart, director of strategic partnerships for the City of Jacksonville. 

The next panel was titled “Building a Corporate Culture of Giving Back that is Inclusive & Sustainable.” This discussion featured Ann-Marie Knight, FACHE, operations administrator at Mayo Clinic; Laura Neal, senior vice president of media content and communications for the PGA TOUR; and Bill Hendrich, executive vice president of COX Media Group. 

Jacksonville sports anchor Brent Martineau moderated both discussions.
