Local McDonald’s owner/operators of South Georgia and North Florida are hosting a Holiday Pickleball Tournament benefitting Ronald McDonald House Jacksonville.
To celebrate the launch of the new Grinch Meal featuring Dill Pickle McShaker Fries, McDonald’s is happy to host a pickleball tournament in Ponte Vedra from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6.
Each ticket sold will benefit the mission of Ronald McDonald House Jacksonville, to keep families close during the most challenging moments of their lives.
Attendees will be able to play pickleball recreationally or competitively, or simply watch and enjoy activities like the photo booth, DJ, raffle prizes and meeting and greeting with the Grinch himself. Raffle prizes will include Jacksonville Jaguars tickets, Stanley cups, Grimace swag, a premium pickleball bag with a paddle case and more.
The event will be held at The Yards Pickleball Garden, 254 Alta Mar Drive, Ponte Vedra Beach.
Since 1988, Ronald McDonald House Jacksonville has been a “home” to more than 44,600 families whose children are seeking medical treatment at one of Jacksonville’s premier pediatric health care facilities.
Register at rmhcjacksonville.org/holiday-pickleball-tournament, or just RSVP to Madelyn Schieder if you’d like to attend and/or play at no cost.
