Celebrate the unveiling of the stars of “Pin Up Paws: Center Stage” during an evening of fun and festivities. Now in its 16th year, the Pin Up Paws competition invites beloved pets to compete for a featured spot in the 2027 Broadway-themed calendar.
“Pin Up Paws is the largest fundraising event that the St. Augustine Humane Society hosts every year. This is a night I circle on the calendar in January and look forward to all year long,” said Krista Brown, development director. “It’s a great way to provide much-needed lifesaving support to animals who need it the most and have a lot of fun at the same time.”
The Pin Up Paws Gala will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 24, at the Casa Monica Resort & Spa in downtown St. Augustine. All attendees will enjoy dinner, complimentary wine, cash bar, silent auction, wine pull, photo booth and a free copy of the 2027 “Center Stage” calendar. The evening is complemented by live jazz from the acclaimed House Cats Jazz Quartet.
Anyone unable to attend the event can still support the St. Augustine Humane Society’s mission by participating in the online auction. Selected items are available for viewing now at PUPauction.org ahead of bidding opening on Aug. 24.
Columbia Restaurant gift certificates are always featured on the auction, compliments of their annual Community Harvest event. The Community Harvest event returns for the 29th year. During the entire month of September, diners can choose for 5% of their check (excluding tax and tip) to be donated to the St. Augustine Humane Society, among a list of Florida nonprofits.
