Power Tee brings on two marketing specialists to expand reach

Power Tee, a Ponte Vedra-based designer and producer of automated golf teeing units, recently announced the additions of two marketing specialists, Alyssa Lamp and Kim Hoy.

According to the company, Lamp and Hoy will help bring awareness to the brand and bring Power Tee to a new level. Since they were hired, the company has expanded its marketing services by sending press releases to local and national media contacts, expanding its social media efforts and launching a Google AdWords campaign.

The marketing team used Fremont Park Golf Club as its first customer to experience the marketing benefits. According to Power Tee, the team took over Fremont’s Facebook page and ran a campaign reaching 6,000 people in the Bay Area of San Francisco. The team also ran a Google AdWords campaign that was interacted with by over 9,000 people in the area. They’re planning to use this information as a case study to reach more customers and help them with their marketing.

Lamp has turned her focus to Power Tee’s online presence and doubled the company’s social media following since she started, according to the company. Since she has taken over the company’s social media accounts, Power Tee has increased its social interaction, reaching an average of 30,000 people on social media a week.

Hoy has started a blog for Power Tee called “Raise Your Game,” which has been read by over 200 people since starting in August. In addition, she has completely redone Power Tee’s website, making it possible to order a home-use unit online and making it more user-friendly for all visitors.

Power Tee will be starting off the New Year with the whole team at the 2019 PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando from Jan. 23-25.

Power Tee was created by Ponte Vedra resident Martin Wyeth and endorsed by U.S. Open Champion, 2018 U.S. Ryder Cup Captain and Ponte Vedra resident Jim Furyk, as well as 2018 European Ryder Cup Captain Thomas Bjorn and golf coach Mitchell Spearman. The system operates in 18 countries and can be found at many of the world's most prestigious golf clubs, such as St. Andrews, the Belfry, Dromoland Castle and Le Golf National.
