Just in time for the spooky season, Saint Augustine Ballet will stage “Dracula,” bringing together professional dancers and students on stage in this classic vampire story by Bram Stoker. This is a family-friendly program for all ages, with discounts for students and children.

The ballet will be presented in two cities — at 7 p.m. Oct. 10 in Palm Coast at the Fitzgerald Performing Arts Center and at 3 p.m. Oct. 11 in St. Augustine at Lewis Auditorium at Flagler College. Tickets are available at saintaugustineballet.org. Both shows are reserved seating.

Admission is $30 to $35 plus fee for adults age 19 and older, $15 plus fee for those ages 18 and younger.

Kick off the Halloween season in style. Attend in your most imaginative costume and join the Dracula Costume Contest. Prizes include tickets to “The Nutcracker” and even a special surprise gift for the little ones in the house.

Professional dancers in the show include Evelyn Lyman of the Sarasota Cuban Ballet, who will play Mina. She began her classical ballet training at Colorado Ballet Academy and has continued at prestigious programs including the Master Ballet Academy, Ballet West, San Francisco Ballet School, The Ballet Clinic and Orlando Ballet. Her repertoire includes the Sugar Plum Fairy in “Nutcracker,” “Don Quixote,” “Giselle,” “Coppelia” and “Swan Lake.”

Guest dancer Jhostin Jimenez will portray Jonathan Harker. Born and raised in Toluca, Mexico, Jimenez joined the United Ballet Theatre in Orlando, under the direction of Joseph Gatti and Henry Hernandez. His repertoire includes roles such as the Nutcracker Cavalier and Prince, Satanella, Spanish, Flames of Paris and Swan Lake’s Pas de Trois.

Lewis Auditorium is located at 14 Granada St., St. Augustine.
