The Salvation Army of Northeast Florida has announced its April Match Campaign, offering the community an opportunity to make twice the impact for neighbors in need. Now through April 30 all donations will be matched dollar-for-dollar, up to $25,000, thanks to the generosity of Dr. Richard Lipsey and Mrs. Cecilia Bryant.
During this limited-time campaign, every gift — no matter the size — will go twice as far in supporting vital programs and services across Northeast Florida. Funds raised will directly benefit individuals and families facing homelessness, financial hardship, food insecurity and other crises.
“This campaign is a meaningful opportunity for our community to come together and multiply their impact,” said Maj. Keath Biggers, area commander of The Salvation Army of Northeast Florida. “The donations we receive during the April Match Campaign will help those who need it most — families struggling to make ends meet, individuals experiencing homelessness and people working hard to rebuild their lives. Every dollar truly makes a difference, and this match allows us to extend hope even further.”
The Salvation Army has been serving the hurting, the homeless and the hopeless in Jacksonville since 1891.
