The littlest learners in Jacksonville are lending a helping hand to families impacted by the recent earthquakes in Venezuela.
On June 24, two major earthquakes struck Venezuela, including a magnitude 7.5-quake, leaving thousands injured and communities in need of support.
Children ages 3 and 4 from Primrose School on Crosswater Parkway and Primrose School of Glen Kernan collected toys, books and essential items for Venezuelan families affected by the disaster. The children also tie-dyed socks to include as a heartfelt addition to the donation.
As part of the Primrose Balanced Learning curriculum, Primrose children engage with their communities through year-round give-back initiatives. Primrose believes that teaching children the value of giving, sharing and caring is a cornerstone of early education.
