Trasca & Co Eatery celebrates fourth anniversary

Trasca & Co Eatery celebrated its fourth anniversary on Saturday, April 13. The restaurant opened its doors with a family-friendly birthday party and invited the whole neighborhood.

The event featured balloon artistry from Niko Magnifiko, face painting by Jennifer Tucker, beer samples from Wicked Barley, free panino sticks and live music.

Although the Ponte Vedra Beach Trasca & Co Eatery opened just four years ago, the restaurant’s history traces back to 1974, when the Frasca family invented its signature “Panino” sandwich. Since the fast-casual style business opened in 2015, it has become a staple of the area, participating in many community functions and donating to local schools.

“Celebrating the fourth anniversary is a proud moment,” owner Sara Frasca said. “In some ways it seems like we have been here forever, but in other ways it seems as if it was only yesterday that I was opening the doors each morning and introduced the Panino to a new audience. I’ve made many friends and, honestly, I have enjoyed each moment.”

In addition, this year the restaurant announced it was merging ownership with Karina Coryell, former owner of the local catering company, KC’s Kitchen. Today, Trasca & Co. has expanded its services and is operated by both Coryell and Frasca.

“The future of Trasca has never been brighter,” Frasca said. “With the infusion of healthier options from Karina and her catering expertise, we are able to serve the community in more ways than ever.”
