Underwood Jewelers invited guests to its Ponte Vedra Beach store on Thursday, Nov. 6, for an evening of community, celebration and charity.
The high-end jewelry store joined forces with Pink Ribbon Jax once again to benefit those in the community in need of free mammograms and breast imaging services, presenting a check for $390,000 raised this year by Pink Ribbon Jax and the generous community to help fund early detection and prevention efforts.
Throughout the weekend, Underwood Jewelers also donated 10% of all sales on David Yurman or Mazda Jewelry to Pink Ribbon Jax. These funds will directly benefit the organization's mission of expanding access to essential breast health services in the community.
Pink Ribbon Jax is an all-volunteer, nonprofit organization created in 2006 that raises funds for free mammograms and imaging services. To date, the organization has donated nearly $4 million in the fight against breast cancer, and it all stays in Jacksonville.
The organization regularly partners with community businesses to raise money that makes an impact by providing free mammograms and imaging services for uninsured and underinsured women and men, purchasing state-of-the-art equipment, supporting cutting-edge research and funding research programs and breast cancer initiatives at places like Mayo Clinic, Baptist Health, Ackerman Cancer Center, Agape Family Health, UF Health, Volunteers in Medicine and WeCareJax.
Underwood Jewelers has partnered with Pink Ribbon Jax for nearly 20 years, demonstrating an unwavering commitment to supporting breast cancer awareness and care in the community.
With the support of dedicated local partners like Underwood Jewelers and the generosity of the Jacksonville community, each dollar raised brings the organization closer to its mission of providing lifesaving services and advancing the fight against breast cancer.
