Community members gathered at Underwood Jewelers’ Ponte Vedra Beach location on Thursday, Nov. 20, for the Roberto Coin and Platinum Born trunk show in benefit of the Ponte Vedra Woman’s Club charities.

The event welcomed dozens of members from the Ponte Vedra Woman’s Club, along with friends and family, to shop from both collections. The trunk show continued through Nov. 22, with opening night featuring cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and a raffle. Raffle tickets could be purchased at the store, offering guests the opportunity to win a Roberto Coin necklace or Platinum Born earrings.

Underwood’s will donate 10% of proceeds from the trunk show to the Ponte Vedra Woman’s Club’s five chosen charities and student scholarships, which include The Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind, the Betty Griffin Center, BEAM, Mission House, Port in the Storm and scholarships for select applicants who come from schools in St. Johns County and the Beaches including FSDB, St. Gerard’s and St. Augustine Youth Services.

The jewelry store’s experienced employees were present to make shopping a breeze, along with representatives from Roberto Coin and Platinum Born who were happy to offer suggestions and spill details about the newest pieces in the store.

Since its founding in 1970, the Ponte Vedra Woman’s Club has brought together women for social, educational and charitable efforts in the Beaches and St Johns County areas. The club often joins forces with Underwood Jewelers to invite its members to shop the one-of-a-kind jewelry and designer pieces during the winter trunk show.

Proceeds from Underwood’s Roberto Coin and Platinum Born trunk show and raffle will be presented to the Ponte Vedra Woman’s Club in the new year.
