Lagos jewelry was the focus of a special trunk show hosted by Underwood Jewelers last week to benefit Ayla’s Acres No-Kill Animal Rescue.

Held Nov. 30 and Dec. 1 at the Ponte Vedra Beach jewelry store, the trunk show concluded with a cocktail reception fundraiser featuring celebrated actress and animal activist Loretta Swit. During the show, 10 percent of all sales of Lagos jewelry was donated to Ayla’s Acres. In addition, Underwood’s raffled off a $2,750 Lagos diamond-beaded bracelet, with 100 percent of the proceeds going to the animal rescue organization.

“We are very excited that Lagos partnered with Underwood’s to support Ayla’s Acres and our third annual trunk show,” said John Rutkowski, manager of Underwood’s Ponte Vedra Beach location. “Lagos has been a leading designer in our store and this will be the first trunk show with their product. What a win-win for our clients and Ayla’s Acres!”

Fran Charlson, executive director of Ayla’s Acres, agreed. “The hard work, effort and passion that everyone at Underwood Jewelers has shown over the last three years has been nothing short of outstanding,” she said. “Their annual event is a cornerstone of our fall fundraising initiatives and has contributed more than $15,000 to our animals and mission. We are so thankful for this partnership.”
