Voting by mail in St. Johns County

The deadline to request a vote-by-mail ballot to be mailed for this election is 5 p.m. Oct. 24. To request a vote-by-mail ballot, go to https://www.votesjc.gov/mail-ballot-request-service.

Vote-by-mail ballots must be received by the Supervisor of Elections Office by 7 p.m. on Election Day, Nov. 5, to be counted.

Postage reminder: When returning your vote-by-mail ballot by mail, you must affix the required postage of two first-class stamps or two Forever Stamps.

Vote-by-mail ballots can be returned:

  • By mail
  • At Secure Ballot Intake Stations, available at all early voting locations during the hours of voting
  • In-person at the Elections Office

Note: Vote-by-mail ballots cannot be returned to Election Day precincts.
