‘A Tea with Zora and Marjorie’

A Classic Theatre presents “A Tea with Zora and Marjorie” with Rhodie Jackson as Zora Neale Hurston and Nancy Grote as Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings. Performances are Feb. 18-20 at 7:30 p.m. and Feb. 21 at 2 p.m. at Gamache-Koger Theatre, 50 Sevilla St., St. Augustine. Tickets are $20. A special performance will take place Thursday, Feb. 25 at 7:30 p.m. at the Linconville Museum and Cultural Center, 102 Martin Luther King Jr. Ave., St. Augustine. ‘Mothers and Sons’ at Players by the Sea

Players by the Sea presents “Mothers and Sons” Feb. 12-27. This Tony nominated Broadway hit examines the evolving definitions of marriage and family. During the run of the show, visual artist Jami Childres will have her work featured in the Grune Family Gallery. Performances are Feb. 12, 13, 18, 19, 20, 21, 25, 26 and 27 at 8 p.m. with Sunday matinees at 2 p.m.. General admission tickets for all performances are $23; $20 for students, seniors and military. Thursday Student Nights offer half price admission with a valid student ID. ‘FRIENDS’ at the J. Johnson Gallery 

“F R I E N D S,” a diverse group exhibition featuring a variety of artists who have exhibited with the gallery over the past fifteen years. This will be the gallery’s second-to-last opening reception before closing its doors in May after a lauded fifteen-year run presenting internationally- and nationally-recognized artists and thought-provoking exhibitions to the north Florida community. FRIENDS will be on display through March 17. The gallery will close in May. The J. Johnson Gallery is located at 177 Fourth Ave., N., Jacksonville Beach. Nocatee Farmers Market: The Living History of the 1740 St. Augusitne Garrison

This February the Nocatee Farmers Market will feature The Living History of the 1740 Saint Augustine Garrison! Come out to the Town Center Field from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. and travel back in time to 1740 as re-enactors portray the life and times of historic Spanish St. Augustine. This special event will include military demonstrations with musket firing, colonial vendors, and more! Along with this fun and interactive theme, the market includes over 80 local vendors offering items such as organic produce, herbs, spices, delicious unique foods, crafts, jewelry and more! Free face painting by Chet’s Creek Church will also be available for little ones, along with free crafts. The Nocatee Farmers Market takes place at Farmers Market Field, 100 Marketside Ave., Ponte Vedra Beach.

GTMRR Guided Beach Exploration
On the third Saturday of the month (Feb. 20), from 8:30-10:30 a.m., join the GTM Research Reserve interpretive guide for a beach walk at the Guana south beach location. Learn about the animals that call the beach their home as well as seashells and other interesting facts. This is a “Beaches 101” experience the entire family will enjoy.
