Wolfson joins Halloween fun with latest fundraiser

Now through the end of October, Wolfson Children’s Hospital is helping spread some spooky cheer as part of its Wolfie BOO! Fundraiser.

The fundraiser encourages participants to spread Halloween joy by “BOO-ing” their friends and neighbors.

Residents can get involved with the fundraiser, which runs through October 30, by purchasing special “Wolfie BOO!” yard signs and putting them in their friends’ or neighbors’ yards with their Halloween decorations so that they will not only receive a festive surprise, but they will also let their fellow neighbors know how much they support Wolfson’s mission.

This year’s proceeds from the Wolfie BOO! campaign will support Wolfson Children’s Rehabilitation, which offers comprehensive therapy for kids with sensory, movement, feeding and communication difficulties.

“Now in its second year, the Wolfie BOO! campaign supports essential physical, occupational and speech-language therapy services provided by Wolfson Children's Rehabilitation that empower children to overcome developmental challenges and live more fulfilling lives,” said Allegra C. Jaros, president of Wolfson Children's Hospital. “I’ll be BOO-ing my colleagues, friends and family this month, and I encourage everyone in the community to join me.”

Wolfie BOO! yard signs can be purchased for $25, or a 5-pack is available for $100 if there are a lot of friends and neighbors to surprise this year.

Yard signs can be purchased now through October 30 or while supplies last. To purchase a Wolfie BOO! yard sign, go to wolfsonchildrenshalloween.com.
