Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Network Realty recently welcomed Realtors Carmen Alonso, Lindsay Viering and Michele Segars to its Ponte Vedra/Nocatee office.

Alonso is a native of Puerto Rico who moved to Florida in 1980.

“I love Jacksonville,” Alonso said. “It’s special that we can experience the four seasons without the snow!”

Alonso knows the Jacksonville real estate market well, and is particularly familiar with properties available in Southside, the Beaches, Mandarin and St. Johns County. She also has been involved in international volunteer work, assisting children with HIV in Africa and with native Indians in the Amazon.

Viering has been selling real estate in Ponte Vedra for the past nine years, but her roots to the town go much deeper. Growing up in Ponte Vedra in the 1970s, she remembers the area as a sleepy little beach town. Prior to joining Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices FNR, she was a real estate agent at The Agency at Ponte Vedra, a small local real estate firm.

Segars has more than 20 years of experience in the luxury real estate market. She previously enjoyed a successful career in New York as a certified gemologist from the Gemological Institute of America, and later became the senior merchandiser at Mayor’s Jewelers in Coral Gables, managing $50 million of fine jewelry inventory. Prior to joining Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices FNR, she worked for a luxury property management company in Ponte Vedra Beach as the lead sales and leasing agent.

A lifelong equetrian, Segars enjoys practicing dressage, a sport that she’s performed in since childhood.
