Representatives of The Hutson Company shared details about the new master planned community, SilverLeaf, at a pre-construction opening event on Wednesday, May 16.
Set to open in the first quarter of 2019, the community will be located between County Road 210 and State Road 16 at St. Johns Parkway west of Interstate 95. According to The Hutson Companies Marketing Manager Kathy Merrow, SilverLeaf will be comprised of approximately 8,000 acres and seven miles of roadway for St. Johns Parkway. It’s zoned for 10,700 dwelling units, 1,770,000 square feet of mixed use and commercial space and 3,500 acres of conservation land.
Merrow added that there are schools planned for the overall development, both kindergarten through eighth grade and a high school. SilverLeaf will consist of several neighborhoods in a wide range of sizes, price points and styles for both individuals and families, making it one of the larger community developments in Northeast Florida.
