The St. Augustine Amphitheatre will present Tony Award-winning actress and singer Idina Menzel May 26.

Menzel is currently on a tour of more than 50 cities around the globe throughout the spring and summer. The tour began March 29 and included stops in Osaka, Nagoya and Tokyo before returning to North America. Featured on the tour are songs from Menzel’s self-titled fifth solo studio album “idina.” as well as a selection of personal, classic pop and musical theater favorites.

Menzel’s diverse career traverses stage, film, television and music – most notably in Disney’s global box office smash “Frozen,” in which she sings the film’s Oscar-winning song “Let it Go.” After her performance of the multi-platinum song at the 86th annual Academy Awards, Menzel made history as the first person with both a Billboard Top 10 hit and a Tony Award for acting. She capped 2016 with the release of “idina.” and filmed Lifetime’s remake of “Beaches,” in which she portrays CC, the role originated by Bette Midler.

Menzel reached superstardom on Broadway with her Tony Award-winning performance as Elphaba, the misunderstood green girl in the blockbuster “Wicked,” and in her Tony-nominated role as Maureen in the Pulitzer Prize-winning “Rent.” Menzel’s most recent Broadway role as Elizabeth in the original production “If/Then” earned her a third Tony nomination. Other notable projects include “Glee” and Disney’s “Enchanted.” In addition to cast albums, Menzel’s prolific recording career includes the solo albums “I Stand,” “Here” and “Still I Can’t Be Still.”

Doors open at 6 p.m. with the show starting at 7:30 p.m. Tickets start at $54 and are on sale at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre and Ponte Vedra Concert Hall box offices.
