Jax Founders, a new entrepreneurship program, is accepting applications for its Summer 2025 Teen Entrepreneurship Program, designed to inspire and equip high school students (ages 13-19) with practical business skills, leadership development and hands-on experience in launching their own business ideas.
The four-week, in-person program will kick off the week of June 2, offering two weekly sessions (two hours each) plus field trips to local businesses. The program is open to all teens in the Jacksonville area with a passion for entrepreneurship, problem-solving and leadership. There is no cost to participate, thanks to generous community sponsors and partners. Applications are now live and spaces are limited to 20 students.
What students will learn:
The program culminates in a Final Pitch Showcase, where students present their business ideas to a panel of community leaders, entrepreneurs and potential investors. Parents, mentors and local supporters are invited to attend this exciting finale.
Jax Founders isn’t a classroom — it’s a launchpad. Students will learn by doing, with real-world challenges, business mentors and industry guest speakers. They’ll also have the opportunity to join an alumni network for ongoing mentorship, competitions and potential seed funding opportunities.
Applications are open now. Go to jaxfounders.org to learn more and submit an application. Students must complete an interview process as part of the selection.
Jax Founders invites local businesses, entrepreneurs and organizations to get involved as guest speakers, mentors or program sponsors.
