The Betty Griffin Center is offering daily discounts on items during its “12 Days of Christmas” promotion through Friday, Dec. 23 at the nonprofit agency’s Julington Square thrift store.
“People throughout the community donate many items to our thrift stores throughout the year,” said Betty Griffin Center Executive Director Joyce Mahr. “So we felt the holiday season offered a great opportunity to give back to those residents.”
According to store Manager Suzanne Stigletts, the thrift store will feature several items at extreme mark-downs each day that will be promoted on their Facebook page and in the store. All sales will help support the Betty Griffin Center, which provides emergency shelter and services for residents experiencing domestic or sexual abuse in St. Johns County.
The Julington Square Thrift Store is one of two the Betty Griffin Center operates in St. Johns County, which help provide funding for the nonprofit agency.
