Morton’s The Steakhouse and Jacksonville Jaguars Pro Bowl Defensive Tackle, Malik Jackson, have teamed up to host a Celebrity Servers Charity Dinner on Monday, Nov. 12, with proceeds benefitting The Malik’s Gifts Foundation.

Jackson and his Jaguars teammates will pass plates instead of footballs and don aprons instead of jerseys - all for a good cause. Beginning at 6 p.m., Jacksonvillians can meet their favorite Jaguars players during a VIP cocktail reception allowing fans to take pictures, get autographs on footballs and commemorative aprons and mingle with their favorite professional sports team before they take on the kitchen.

Guests will enjoy watching the all-star athletes serve a four-course meal paired with fine wines from Morton’s The Steakhouse. Throughout the evening, fans will also have the opportunity to bid in a silent and live auction led by emcee Donovan Carter of the hit HBO show “Ballers” to benefit The Malik’s Gifts Foundation, whose mission is to help the people and animals of the communities Malik calls home.

“We are honored Malik chose Morton’s to host this great event and look forward to seeing how these big-time football players handle the heat in the kitchen,” said Tim Whitlock, Sr. Vice President of Operations for Morton’s The Steakhouse.

The Foundation will support programming for youth, families, veterans and military families in the Jacksonville area with the funds generated in partnership with Morton’s. For more details or to purchase tickets, visit www.mortons.com.

“I look forward to serving the best football fans in the NFL,” said Jackson. “Malik’s Gifts has been active in Jacksonville and we want to do even more for this great community.  This event is a great way for our fans to get to know me and my teammates off the field while raising money that will be used right here to impact the Jacksonville community.”

Morton’s The Steakhouse is located at 225 E. Coastline Drive.
