Pulte Homes has started work on its first active-adult community in the Bridge Bay neighborhood at Bannon Lakes.

Located off Interstate 95 at World Golf Village in St. Augustine, the master-planned community at Bannon Lakes is scheduled to open in early 2017, according to Lyndsey Patterson, director of marketing for the homebuilder’s North Florida division.

Bridge Bay will be a development of 167 single-family homes and villas ranging from three-to-five bedrooms, with two to three full baths and two- and three-car garages. The homes will offer between 1,500 and 2,000 square feet of living space.

Amenities will include an on-site lifestyle director and community association manager as well as a 4,000-square-foot clubhouse, a 3,000-square-foot pool with swimming lanes, bocce ball and tennis courts, event lawns, dog parks, and a canoe and kayak launch area.
