Toni Boudreaux-Godwin named among St. Augustine Record’s '40 Under Forty'

Toni Boudreaux-Godwin, director of the Ponte Vedra Beach Division of the St. Johns County Chamber of Commerce, has been named among the inaugural St. Augustine Record “40 Under Forty” recipients. 

Boudreaux will be recognized along with honorees who have attained milestone career achievements and involvement in business, nonprofits and the public sector throughout St. Johns County. 

Nominated by Chamber staff, Boudreaux-Godwin was selected by a panel of judges. She was selected for her professional, civic and personal accomplishments. The nomination described her significant record of innovation and outstanding performance in her role at the Chamber. She is actively involved in the St. Johns County community and lives in Ponte Vedra with her husband, David Godwin. 

Some of her key accomplishments include expanding the Chamber division in Ponte Vedra Beach while supervising the division staff, collaborating effectively with the Chamber staff and working closely with the members of the Ponte Vedra Division Board of Directors and Ambassadors. She works closely with the Chamber’s vice president of public policy on issues and advocates for members and membership growth strategies. Boudreaux-Godwin also works with project managers and governmental liaisons to coordinate political events during election year. She oversees the official Visitor Information Center in Ponte Vedra as certified by VISIT FLORIDA.

Her career history includes overseeing the Chamber’s annual Ponte Vedra Auto Show, the fifth largest auto show in Florida, and sustaining the arts and artists in St. Johns County. Boudreaux-Godwin is a member of the Rotary Club of Ponte Vedra Beach and was named the Rotarian of the Year. She has also supported the Beaches Rotaract Club.  

Her volunteer work includes contributions to the Salvation Army, Big Brothers Big Sisters, K9s for Warriors, Beaches Habitat for Humanity, Operation New Uniform, Wounded Paw Project and Wounded Warrior Project. Boudreaux-Godwin is also a member of the University of North Florida Speakers Bureau and serves on the Advisory Board for the University of North Florida Communications Department.

According to Isabelle Renault, president and CEO of St. Johns County Chamber of Commerce, the recognition provides Boudreaux-Godwin and the Chamber with well-deserved accolades and honors for dedication to numerous business and community initiatives. 

“Every day, I am inspired by the hard-working staff at the Chamber in Ponte Vedra led by Toni and her team as they grow the division and provide service and valuable resources to the business community,” Renault said. 

The awards event and banquet will be held on Thursday, March 28, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Embassy Suites by Hilton St. Augustine Beach Oceanfront Resort.
