Uptown Swinery adds creative cocktail pairings to brunch

Champagne charcuterie, boozy Capri Suns, specialty bloody marys and mimosa Jell-O shots are just a few of the offerings found on Uptown Swinery's all-new brunch cocktail menu.

The Southern-inspired restaurant invites guests to indulge in classic dishes like shrimp and grits, biscuits and gravy, and pancakes du jour alongside cocktails crafted with local flavors, vibrant colors and even edible glitter.

"We're so excited to launch this new menu," said Katrina Hammock, general manager of Uptown Swinery. "One of the things that sets our restaurant apart is the daily brunch menu, so we thought these cocktail pairings would be the perfect addition. Our space is meant to be enjoyed no matter the occasion. Whether you're celebrating a relaxed birthday during the day or a romantic anniversary at night, our restaurant offers something for everyone."

Since its re-opening in 2020, the restaurant has been dreaming up new ways to bring locals and visitors together, including an expansive second-floor renovation providing lounge seating and private events space, a food truck that is available for event rentals and seasonal offerings such as their Nights of Lights cocktails, Brunch with Santa, and “Miami Vice”-themed New Year's Day Hangover Cure.

Guests will also have the chance to personalize their visit through build-your-own menu items like champagne charcuterie (“toppings” include edible glitter, boba pearls and fresh-squeezed juices) while learning about the taste of St. Augustine through curated flavors, including watermelon-datil mimosas and Florida citrus sangria.

Uptown Swinery is located at 45 San Marco Ave. in St. Augustine. Hours are 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 5-9 p.m. Wednesday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 5-9 p.m. Saturdays, and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sundays.
