Sing Into Spring at Palms Presbyterian

Palms Presbyterian Church is pleased to announce the Fine Arts Series concert, Sing Into Spring featuring The University of North Florida Chamber Singers, Chorale and The Osprey Men’s and Women’s Choruses on Friday, Feb. 12 at 7:30 p.m. in the church sanctuary. All are welcome to join Palms as they connect and celebrate the gift of music at this special concert. All concerts are free, open to all, and nursery is provided. Beaches Fine Arts concert

The Beaches Fine Arts Series presents Voice on Friday, Feb. 12 at 7:30 p.m. at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 465 11th Ave. N., Jacksonville Beach. Voice is a London-based, female a cappella trio performing repertoire spanning both ages and continents. Formed in 2006,Voice performs secular and non-secular music from the medieval music of Hildegard of Bingen, to twenty-first-century commissions, and songs from around the world. Their distinctive sound is driven by individual voices that blend to create beautiful harmonies. The concert is free and open to the public. ‘Mothers and Sons’ at Players by the Sea

Players by the Sea presents “Mothers and Sons” Feb. 12-27. This Tony nominated Broadway hit examines the evolving definitions of marriage and family. During the run of the show, visual artist Jami Childres will have her work featured in the Grune Family Gallery. Performances are Feb. 12, 13, 18, 19, 20, 21, 25, 26 and 27 at 8 p.m. with Sunday matinees at 2 p.m.. General admission tickets for all performances are $23; $20 for students, seniors and military. EMMA Concert Association concert

EMMA Concert Association and Flagler College present “The Hollywood Concert Orchestra: Music that ‘Made’ the Movies” on Saturday, Feb. 13 at 7:30 p.m. at Lewis Auditorium, 14 Granada St., St. Augustine. Second Saturday Family Seining

The GTM Research Reserve will host Family Seining on the second Saturday (Feb. 13) from 8:30-10:30 a.m. Join staff and/or volunteers for a guided family seining activity. Visitors will get the chance to pull a seine net through Guana Lake, collecting species of fish, crabs and more, and then learn about the animals and their roles in the habitat. All necessary gear, including waders and boots, will be provided. There is a $3 per vehicle parking fee. The event is free.
Please meet the guides at Guana Dam Recreational Area. They will be located at either the north or south boat launch, depending on the tide. Dave Mason’s Traffic Jam concert

Take a journey back to the greatest days of rock with Dave Mason’s sight and sound experience, Traffic Jam, Sunday Feb. 14 at the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall.
