5th Annual Fish Fry

The North Florida Land Trust’s 5th Annual Fish Fry will be held Saturday, June 4 from noon to 6 p.m. on Big Talbot Island in Jacksonville. Food will be catered by This Chick Can Cook and there will be live music performed by Firewater Tent Revival and Cain’t Never Could. June 4 is National Trails Day, so the event will also include a free guided hike and a guided kayak tour for $25. Tickets for the event are $25 in advance; $30 at the door. Storyteller workshop

The Florida Heritage Book Festival presents a day-long workshop “Finding the Storyteller in You” on Saturday June 4 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Gamache-Koger Theatre at Flagler College, 50 Sevilla St., St. Augustine. First Coast Pastel Society show

The First Coast Pastel Society’s 2016 Member Show and Sale will be on exhibit June 3-July 15 at The Cultural Center at Ponte Vedra Beach, 50 Executive Drive, Ponte Vedra Beach. The opening reception and awards presentation will be held Friday June 3 from 6 to 8 p.m. The exhibit will feature more than 50 works of pastel by 27 artists that showcase the pastel medium. This year’s exhibit is juried by nationally known pastel artist Karen Margulis, who will teach a mini-workshop called “It Begins with the Sky: Painting Sky and Clouds” on Saturday June 4 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Sawgrass Hilton Garden Inn. Yoga Brew at The Eatery
